LK Secured Lending was founded to provide investors with a safer, more secure way to achieve strong returns. The idea began with Barry Levenson, a banking and real estate expert with decades of experience. After building a $300 million real estate acquisition fund, and then seeing real estate become extremely overpriced, Barry saw the need for a safer alternative to traditional real estate equity investments.  

Barry’s vision aligned perfectly with Paul Kessler and Diana Derycz-Kessler, who joined him to co-found LK Secured Lending & Investments.

Paul L. Kessler:

A strategic pivot

After decades of navigating market volatility and living through major recessions, Paul sought a safer approach to investing.

“Becoming a lender in real estate allowed us to avoid equity risks while achieving high returns,” Paul says. “This pivot not only benefits our investors but gives us peace of mind—we’ve invested our own money because we believe in it.”
